Cattleya Dinard 'Blue Heaven' - Used in Citrus 11 (Men) for Team building Perfume workshop
Hybrid of Cattleya (Saint Gothard (1908) x Dinah). Flowers are a pale lavender-blue with darker lavender veins on petals. The lip is ruffled indigo purple with a yellow throat veined in lighter purple. They have exceptionally nice fragrance. |

Herbal Usage: Dried powdered pseudobulb is used as a tonic, and paste is used to treat fractures and dislocations in Nepal. D. eriiflorum was included among 21 samples of Herba Dendrobii collected from various herbal sources, but it is not included in standard Chinese Materia Medica as shihu. |

Chinese name: Erzheyangersuan (two fold sheep ear garlic It is a small terrestrial herb. It is distributed only in Sichuan and central and northwest Yunnan in China, but it also occurs in Laos, Myanmar, northeast India, Bhutan and Nepal. Herbal Usage: Chinese herbal medicine employs the whole plant to stop pain and to clear colds. |

Plantanthera edgeworthii (Hook f. ex Collett) RK Gupta syn. Habenaria edgeworthii Lindl., Habenaria acuminata (Twaites) Trimen
Indian Ayurvedic names: Riddhi, Riddhi Vridhi, Laksmi, Mangala, Rathanga, Rissisrista, Saravajanpriya, Siddhi, Sukha, Vasa, Yuga, Kakoli. (in Garhwal): also Pranda, Talgranthisamakand, Vamavartal, Vrisya It is distributed from China to the northwest Himalayas, and also in Anamalai Hills of Tamil Nadu. Herbal Usage: Riddhi is an important medicine in the Ayurvedic tradition. Roots are eaten as food or a tonic. It is also used as an aphrodisiac. It is sweet in taste, and “pacifies vata and pitta but aggravates kapha”, which translates as meaning that it is good for slim or driven people, but bad for those who are laid back or obese. It is cooling and promotes semen production. Leaves and roots are used for treating ‘diseases of the blood’. In Garhwal, Indian Himalayas, the powdered orchid pseudobulb is added to Ashtavarga and Swarnabhashma (from gold calcinations) to pre- pare a potion to promote milk production. Vriddhi is used as brain tonic, general tonic, depurant, appetiser, “rasayan” and emollient. Oral dose is 2–3 g of powdered tuber. It features in Astavarga churna, Chyavanprash rasayan and Mahamayura ghrita. |

Thrixspermum pardale (Ridl.) Schlecht. Also Sacrochilus pardalis, Ridl., Dendrocolla pardalis (Ridl) Ridl.
It is distributed in Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo, in the first locality at 1000 m. In Peninsular Malaysia, it was regularly found on trees in Perak and Pahang. Herbal Usage: Leaves made into a paste for treating nose ulcers. Fragrant Orchid: Flowers smell of European Meadowsweet. Main components of the strong scent are- cis-linalool oxide and nerolidol overlaid with (E,Z)-2,4-decadienal, ethyl(Z)-4-decenoate, ethyl (E,Z)-2,4-decadienoate with the corresponding (E,E)-isomers and gamma-decalactone. The typical aroma of Bartlett pears is produced by ethyl (E,Z)-2,4-decadienoate and the corresponding methyl ester. |
