So, here’s a question, how would spending more time with your colleagues benefit you at work? Wouldn’t it just removing more time from work, which in itself lose productivity?
The returns you get for investing quality time with your colleagues will be long term. If your relationship gets better with your colleagues, they will certainly be more willing to help out when you need at work, which increases your work productivity.

As you work longer in your team, there will definitely be issues and things you find that others could do better to help the entire team. Therefore, constructive feedback is very important for both the team’s and individual – a win-win situation.
A constructive feedback are respectful and tactful words that benefits the team, not a statement to let out your personal grudges, like for example, if the person did not talk to you during lunch time and you are upset about it, that is not a constructive feedback.
In addition, it is also a session where parties involved try to understand each other by giving reasons to their side of the story, which is different from being defensive. So, both the person giving the feedback as well as the one receiving it should be prepared to listen and eventually discuss a solution together to come to a compromise.
