#2 Adaptability skills
 
 I can’t emphasize this enough, but this is such an important skill to possess. Having adaptability skills means that you are willing to change in order to become successful.
 
When you know how to adapt, you learn quickly as well. One should not only stick to the traditional methods when working, but should be actively exploring different options and see which one works the best.

#3 Communication
 
There are two different types of communication - verbal and non-verbal. Communication is not just only what you say, but also how you present yourself.
 
It is important to be aware that communication works both ways, and that the words that you say can affect others. There are a few factors that contribute to communications. Such as your body language, facial expression, posture and eye contact. Making eye contact when the person is speaking to shows that you are actually paying attention and listening to them. How would you feel if you’re talking to someone but they’re not even looking at you? That’s such a big no-no!
 
Having good communication can put you in the spotlight and earn you the respect of others. It also allows you to delegate tasks and ensure that everyone is aware of their part and what they need to do. With good communication, work productivity and standard of work can increase as well.

#4 Ability to work under pressure
 
Everyone encounters stress and pressure, but how many can say that they can work under pressure? Stress and pressure can come from many factors - be it last minute changes or time and resource constraints. The response to stress varies from people to people. Some thrive on it and perform better, while others crumble and fall.
 
No bosses would want their employee panic from stress and eventually resign from their job. They need someone who is reliable and good at their job. This is an important skill to have when working in society.

#5 Teamwork
 
Candidates with strong teamwork skills are sought by employers for many reasons - they demonstrate skill sets that are essential for a company to grow and succeed. They are team players and can work well with everyone with the team. This leads to higher work productivity and a happy healthy work environment.
 
People who have great teamwork usually have excellent conflict management skills as well. A team leader not only has to make sure that he/she is able to work with everyone, but it is also important that the other team members get along to achieve high work productivity.
