1. Clear vision and goal
The team’s success usually is determined if the team have a clear and united goal in mind for them to work towards to as a team.
Without clear goals and objective of the project your team is working on, the team’s roles and work assignments will be messy which will decrease the team’s productivity. Therefore, a leader must clearly state out their objectives of this project and why they should be doing what they are doing.
This is where you have to learn to observe the strengths of your team members to assign suitable roles and responsibilities to them. Also, do not also assume that their potential will be shown very obviously while they work. Give them opportunities to show their talents and allow room for improvement such that even their weaknesses can become a strength and asset for the team.

Take time out to also reflect on your actions and words over the course of your leadership, accept constructive feedback without being defensive and apply steps to improve yourself and your leadership skills.
