Reading your favourite bookGot a book that you bought from the last book fair now collecting dust on the shelf? Now’s the time to pick it up and finish reading it! Reading can be very therapeutic as it clears our mind and keeps us feeling relaxed. Try turning off your phone, get away from any social media distractions and really just focus on reading the book. You’ll thank yourself for setting aside time for this, trust me!
Have a movie marathonWhen was the last time you did a movie marathon? How about inviting all your friends over to do that? Pick a genre or even a whole season of shows! Laze around with the people precious to you and catch up with each other, spending quality time together! I’m sure it’ll be a memory that all of you would remember years down the road.
Pamper yourselfIndulge in some self-care! Pamper yourself with a spa session or maybe try out a new manicure or pedicure design! Research has shown that self-care is essential and it benefits our emotional health and overall well-being as well. This is a great way to take the stress off you, even just for a day! Recharge and you’ll have more energy and motivation when you go back to work the next day!
Take up a new hobbyAlways wanted to pick up a new sport or learn a new instrument? Now’s the best time to do it! Challenge your body and push it to its limit! You’d be surprised at the things that your body is able to do! Don’t be afraid to try new things and let fear push you back.
